Hard To Find Collectibles
Are you a "Collector"? When guests walk into someones house they typically say "You have a wonderful home" and begin the process of looking around at the decorations lying or hanging around. In most cases the room or house may have a motif or theme that includes collections of one type or another.

In my house each room has a different theme which includes the many types of collectibles that I have saved over the years. One room is dedicated to nautical items. Having spent many years in the Navy, this is pretty self-explanatory to visitors who know me, but other collections have less to do with what people know about me and more about the side of me that people exploring my house find as a new and refreshing aspect of me.

Collecting is a great way to explore yourself and is a hobby that is nothing short of amazing as a pick-me-up when life seems to get the better of you. I make my weekly trips to the flea markets, farmers markets, local auctions, yard sales and often do nothing but look around and see what catches my eye.

eBay is one of the largest auctioneer sites on the Internet and literally millions of people use it to either buy or sell items. It is a particularly favorite site for collectors. No matter what you collect, be it cuckoo clocks, antiques, sports memorabilia or jewelry of every kind, you can find it there. This site is also great for sellers because whatever they are trying to sell, they can usually find a buyer for it.

Antique Collectibles
If you are an antique collector, then you know that one of the most difficult things to do is to find specific antique items for your collection. This is especially true if you are just starting out and have no idea where to look for such items. However, there are quite a number of good sources both online and offline from which you can get leads and important information with regard to the antique items that you want to get.
Among some of the more traditional sources of antiques, flea markets continue to be some of the best sources of antique collectibles. This is because flea markets can offer some rare treasures to antique collectors and a wide selection of collectibles for collectors who may not have a specific item in mind. On the other hand, for antique collectors looking for specific items, one of the best places to search for antique items is the Internet, as there are a number of websites that can help them locate and purchase antique items.
